Our work
The Kentucky Democracy Project is a campaign started in 2020 to register, educate, and mobilize Kentucky voters to participate in the election and beyond. As Kentuckians, we can work together to build a healthy democracy where everyone has a voice and a vote. Our focus is on communities often left out of the political decision-making process – lower income communities, people of color, and young people.
In 2023, we’re dedicated to reaching the 200,000 Kentuckians who got their right to vote back through Governor Beshear’s Executive Action and spreading the word about the 2023 election process to make sure people know how to cast their vote.
Our work includes voter registration tables, online trainings, phone banks to register or mobilize voters, leaving lit pieces on doors, canvassing, and mailings. If you’d like to get involved, please click here.
